Migration and the Common Good

David Goodhart, Head of Demography, Immigration and Integration at Policy Exchange and author of the best-selling The Road to Somewhere: The new tribes shaping British politics. David was a panelist at this public debate held on 2 July 2018, the first in the series State, Society and the Common Good, bringing people together to talk about the proper role of the state in generating a good society.

Held in partnership by Together for the Common Good, Theos Think Tank, and the Benedict XVI Centre at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. The panelists are David Goodhart, Head of Demography, Immigration & Integration at Policy Exchange, Dr Adrian Pabst, Reader in Politics in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent, Satbir Singh, CEO of Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants, Dr Anne Kershen, Founder of the Centre for the Study of Migration at Queen Mary University London and Kiran Bali MBE, Chair of United Religions Initiative.

The event was chaired by Elizabeth Oldfield, Director of Theos.
