A Training Day in Common Good Thinking and Practice - Winchester, 25 April 2018

In this time of division and social fragmentation, are you drawn to building relationships in your neighbourhood, workplace and community? How can your church be more effective as a force for the Common Good?

Spend a fun and stimulating day learning how to bring alive the principles and practice of the Common Good. Explore the role of the church in strengthening relationships within and beyond your neighbourhood. Learn from church leaders of different traditions. Discover how the Common Good can enhance the life of your church, your community and social action engagement, and your personal calling as a leader.

This day for church leaders includes:

  • An induction into T4CG’s vision of Common Good Thinking and practice

  • Practical workshops and a grounding in Christian social teaching

  • Networking and prayer with church leaders across different Christian traditions

  • Takeaway resources

Who is this for?

  • Church leaders of all Christian traditions: i.e. priests, vicars, pastors, ministers, chaplains, religious sisters and brothers and senior lay leaders.

  • The content for this programme assumes some formation in theology.

Cost £10 including a sandwich lunch and all training materials.

This event is a pilot and is kindly hosted by the Diocese of Winchester.
